Audi TT Low Tire Pressure Sensor Light (2008-2021) – TPMS Reset: Audi TT Low Tire Pressure Sensor Light (2008-2021) – The Audi TT is a sporty four-seater automobile manufactured by the German automobile manufacturer Audi. In Györ, Hungary, since 1998, the TT has been built entirely in-house. The redesigned TT Coupé was unveiled at the 2006 Berlin Motor Show in the spring of that year. The new TT Roadster debuted on the market a year later, in the spring of 2007. It was the first of its kind in the world.
At launch, the new TT will be offered with a choice of two engines.
Here are a couple different methods for resetting the TPMS on an Audi TT, depending on the model year of your vehicle:
2008-2010 Models
In order to reset the TPMS on an Audi TT with a low tire pressure sensor light (2008-2021), you must first remove the tire pressure sensor from the vehicle. It is produced by the German automobile company Audi and is a sporty four-seater. In Györ, Hungary, since 1998, the TT has been built to order. The redesigned TT Coupé was unveiled in Berlin during the spring of 2006. The redesigned TT Roadster was introduced to the market a year later, in the spring of 2007. It is marginally bigger in size than its predecessor.
It is necessary to reset the stated pressures anytime you modify tire pressures, change a tire, or have it rotated in order for the TPMS to continue to function correctly.
- Check to see that you’ve adjusted the tire pressure to the specified level on the tire placard. Make sure that the ignition is turned on without starting the engine. In order to set the tire pressure monitoring system, press the button until you hear a beep and the tire pressure monitoring system light blinks three times.
2011-2015 Models
In order to use an information display controlled by the wiper lever on the Audi A3 S3, please follow these instructions:
- Check to see that you’ve adjusted the tire pressure to the specified level on the tire placard. Make sure that the ignition is turned on without starting the engine. Continue to press the RESET button until the wordDISPLAY TYPE appears on the screen. To highlight theSETmenu, use the rocker button on your keyboard.
- Press the RESET button to bring up the menu
- Then selectTIRE PRESSURE
- Then selectSTORE NOW
- Then selectCONFIRM to complete the TPMS reset.
2016-2021 Models
The time required is 7 minutes.
In contrast to earlier models, the TPMS may now be reset using the MMI display in this third generation vehicle. The following is how to proceed:
- Bring the car to a complete stop and switch off the engine. Ascertain that your car is in a secure location. The cold tire pressure in all four tires should be adjusted according to the recommendations on the tire placard on the door panel. The term ‘cold tire’ refers to a tire that has not been driven for longer than three hours. Make sure that the ignition switch is in the ON position, but do not start the engine. To start or stop the engine if your car has an ignition button, push the START-STOP ENGINE button once while keeping your foot on the brake pedal. To enter the main menu, use theMENUbutton on the MMI controls on the steering wheel. An icon for this button may be seen on the center console. Navigate to the CAR or VEHICLEmenu. The MMI control button is used to navigate through and choose options from the menu. Find and selectSERVICECHECK from the drop-down menu. To cycle between the menu options, use the left control button. Select TIRE PRESSURE MONITORING from the drop-down menu. There will be a message displayed on the screen. Select STORETIRE PRESSURE from the drop-down menu. After that, a confirmation notice will show on the computer screen. SelectYES in order to do the TPMS reset. Done
