Start the car, put your foot on the brake, and don’t get out.

While keeping your foot on the brake, shift the car into drive and begin pulling forward while keeping the wheel straight.

Once you have reached a straight line, release your foot from the brake, turn, and release your foot again.

This switch operates the remote pump motor by grounding the pump motor relay through the starting solenoid and turning it on and off.

The fuses for the instrument cluster should be checked if neither of the warning lights illuminates when the key is switched on. Check all other system fuses as well.
