I decided to check the front brakes as well and discovered that I will need to replace the front pads very soon because the inner pad on the passenger side is significantly more worn than the outer pad, indicating that I am most likely dealing with a stuck piston. That is OK with me, and I have no plans to adjust the caliper at this time.

If this is the case, you still have an issue since it is the sensor that fails, not the hub, which just contains the tone wheel.

Start the car, put your foot on the brake, and don’t get out.
While keeping your foot on the brake, shift the car into drive and begin pulling forward while keeping the wheel straight.
Once you have reached a straight line, release your foot from the brake, turn, and release your foot again.

If the yellow and/or red lights stay on, the system is experiencing a malfunction that will necessitate further investigation. The fuses for the instrument cluster should be checked if neither of the warning lights illuminates when the key is switched on. Check all other system fuses as well. Examine the two warning light relays located in the engine compartment, as well. By turning the key on and pressing the parking brake, you can see if the BRAKE warning light is on.
