Even though it appears to me that it should be colder, I don’t believe it has ever been colder than that since I purchased it last October. Furthermore, the HIGH fan setting does not appear to be blowing particularly strongly. What’s the deal with that? For the time being, I suppose that will suffice. I really despise it when things don’t operate the way they’re supposed to. This drives me insane! I think I have OCD
  • It’s possible that blocked coils are preventing the air from flowing strongly. It’s similar to a blocked filter. I’ve just uploaded some photos of something I did a few months ago.

We had the clutch fan replaced, and Toyota also added freon to the system. We had them install a thermostat in the vent before we left the dealership since it was still quite hot when we arrived. It has the number 105 on it. As far as they are concerned, there is nothing more they can do. To put it another way, when the car is at a stop light or has been stopped for more than 2-3 minutes, it blows as if the heating is turned off. While traveling, though, the wind is really chilly. Any suggestions would be much appreciated!

In addition, the air conditioning in my 2005 Toyota Tacoma is spewing warm air. Being that I only recently acquired it used, I’m not entirely knowledgeable of its past. After having it for a while, my father didn’t mention anything about the air conditioning not functioning; nevertheless, as of yesterday, it is just blowing hot air. When I press the AC button, I don’t hear anything come on and the engine idle doesn’t alter (solid green light, not blinking).

  1. I couldn’t find the AC clutch relay at my local autozone, so I decided to try replacing it with one of the other relays on the engine bay fuse box.
  2. Because they look to have distinct inscriptions on them, I didn’t want to make a mistake and ruin anything.
  3. Everything is in my favor, except that there isn’t a major problem!
  4. It’s possible that the freon is low.

Before you go through with it, do some research on other people’s experiences. According to what I’ve read, this is a bad idea. It is possible to overfill them, and they are not particularly precise. It is possible that you may have to pay hundreds of dollars to repair the system that you harmed in the process.

I recently got mine professionally done for $88. They removed all of the freon from the system and replaced it with new. Then you’ll know it was done correctly. DIY will cost at least $32 and is a gamble because it is based on chance.

In the interim, while I was saving money for repairs, I simply drove as fast as I could with the windows rolled down. Small leaks, on the other hand, do not often cause significant oil loss, if any at all. Yes, there was a significant rupture of a high side hose.

  1. When there is too much oil, the issues become more severe.
  2. Labor-intensive to thoroughly drain and replace all of the oil in the system, then replace oil in the compressor, evaporator, and condenser, as well as other components.

You are aware that pressures can alter depending on the temperature of the surrounding air. Charging it according to pressure does not function; instead, you must charge it according to the weight of the refrigerant that has been applied.

It is common for a little quantity of oil to be released when refrigerant is recovered from the system, generally less than an ounce.

Adding too much oil is not recommended; if you are unsure of how much oil was extracted, add half an ounce at the most, and no more than that at all.

There are a plethora of details to consider, which caused me much anxiety. Although I had verified and double-checked everything, the solution was ineffective. It was a horrific experience, guy, travelling for almost 10 hours in oppressive heat for no apparent reason. When my air conditioner is out of commission, it feels like hell to be in that situation.

When I was trapped in a stifling room without air conditioning for a couple of hours, I was on the verge of passing out.

I make every effort to keep my air conditioning in top working order.

I’m hoping they’ll be able to assist you as well.
