When it comes to your Ford F-150 vehicle, what is the PCM and how do you repair it? We go over all of the specifics and methods required to do this. • The DTCs contain information that may be used to narrow down the cause of a failure to a single component.
• This information is obtained by reading the DTCs from the interface connection, which is situated beneath the dashboard.
• Before disassembling anything, get some information about your PCM in addition to scanning the codes.
• In order to discover the PCM for your individual car, you should seek it up on the internet or in your owner’s handbook.
• The PCM is placed below the driver’s kick panel, with the connection extending through the firewall on the majority of contemporary F-150s, according to Ford.
